From Tolkiens marvellous poem Errantry. Its supposed to be a Hobbit poem, I think, and so Ive always imagined the reckless adventurer of the piece as a hobbit.
"Errantry" is a mock-epic poem, a light piece Tolkien did to amuse himself between bouts of more serious fare. The image of a hobbit knight-errant with absurd airy-fairy weapons fighting giant bees and mosquitoes is a fun kind of bedtime-story adventure though.
at that size wouldnt he be a Browny? Hobbits werent that little lol
Maybe he's just in a bit of the land where all things grow big, even the plants
I nearly fell of my chair, becuse this is so amazing pun!
lol, I know the poem, but in Harry Potter it would have a quite different meening
so cute, so original
Hehe Giant bee!
Pretty close. I read that "Dumbledore" is old English for bumblebee. Still this one is a big one, whatever sort he may be.
