You got a real knack for designing creatures of goofy and silly shapes combined with somewhat realistic texture, with the Wonderland creatures and Fearsome Critters being the most obvious examples. And I enjoy how your style can invoke so many different moods in each drawing; some comedic while others are creepy or both. You´re great as an illustrator. :)

Speaking of funny creatures, I made a character inspired by your Roperite design. Do you think my design looks too much like yours?

Might I say that your art is a nearly Psychedelic viewing experience?

You may, and if that's the case I have indeed succeeded in my ambitions for my art :)

Thank you! All my illustrations are labours of love. I do them when I need to wind down and relax. So they're really glorified doodles :)

No problem. Your art work is excellent! Far better than some of the professional comic artists for sure! I started to draw again after many many years maybe 10 years or more. And from this year I started to do it very seriously. I think my drawing is improving slowly. I am dreaming of becoming a pro illustrator. I would like to have some feed back from you. I like weird monsters and japanese yokai stuff you do. Some of them are bit like Moomins!

Your number 1 priority is to use your creativity to add real quality to your life. Your number 2 priority is to use your creativity to add quality to the lives of others. If you enjoy your work it'll come through in your art, and others will most certainly enjoy it too.
The way to work with your creativity is to set a big goal, to really decide what you'd like to do with your creativity, and then work every day on being as productive as you can, making new stuff all the time, and enjoying it. My experience is that when you are productive and you show the results to the world via social media (Facebook, DeviantArt, YouTube, etc) people will start to follow your work, and you never know who's watching. It can be someone with just the right connections for you and your art. Even if you think that your work isn't as good as some other artist's work, keep at it. Just by being productive and exuding creative joy you will be prolific, and will impress people and attract them to your art.
Some will undoubtedly be annoyed by your tenacity, but those are not the people you should be bothered with, as they only target others as a reaction to their own inability to make something of their talents. Frustration gives birth to many critics. However, if someone offers you constructive critique and advice about how you can improve on technique, etc, and you feel it does apply to your style of art, lap it up!
If you think I can give you some useful feedback I'll be very happy to look through your portfolio and see if I can offer any good advice.
