I think this one falls into the category "seminal monster movie."
This may be the creepiest crab monster I've ever seen
Craaab people! Craaab people! Taste like crab, talk like people...
Love this movie. I tried to draw these monsters once, but I couldn't make the face nearly as faithful to the film's like you did. Awesome work
I'm glad you think I got the face right The crab monsters are great, weird characters!
Neat, probably Corman's best work.
It's his best monster movie, but my fave Corman film is probably "The Masque of Red Death."
Must get this film!!!
They'd be good Dr. Who monsters. I could see this one chasing down the Fifth Doctor's bikinied Peri!
Well, there is the Macra.
"God---- Hollywood Morality Tales!"
Two tons of Old Bay spice mix will fix them!
I'll remember to bríng that to the beach this summer, just in case..
I remember this movie! It is great.
thanks for sharing
A strange strange movie!
But pretty cool
I see it as an under-rated/needs a remake kind of movie. Granted the tech they had at the time wasn't too good. So they did what they could. But if put in the right hands, I think the movie could be turned into a really good flick.
I think it's a pretty smart monster movie, and quite graphic at times, for its age. I wouldn't mind a remake, for as original as the crab monsters are, they're realized in a very clunky (but inevitable) way.
Well, at least she doesn't have crabs.
(awful joke i know)

Awww...he just wants a girlfriend for Valentine's Day. Or a snack.
someone's feeling crabby
Ah, that ol’ dirty crab monsta’... Her luscious expression is priceless...
Love her reaction wonder if she'll get away
She got away, but others weren't so lucky.
"Back off Crusty! I have butter sauce and a crab cracker, and know how to use them!"
This is why I ask if there's crabs there every time I go to a beach...
great rendition of this movie monster. I think you nailed it.
Looks like someone stepped on Woody Allen from ANTZ.
The crab monster is both far nastier and a little goofier than the original. Its has a sort of old world fairytale vibe, like something that a mother would warn her children about if they went by the seaside after dark.
