Quite possibly the shittiest monster ever put on film, and with some of the shoddiest camera work I've ever seen. The poster is cool, though.
The monster had the most personality of anyone in this...seriously though, it was fun, better than the Yucca Flats thing.
"RAWR, I'm off to take your girl!"
"Ew, put me down..."
I got this movie as part of a set but never got around to watching it
It can be a chore to get through, depending on your tastes.
Man, the cheesiest monter ever!
And somehow I've ended up with several copies of this film on DVD collections.
Yes, it seems to be one of those that are always bundled up in DVD collection of horror "classics".
somehow you've managed to make one of the dumbest looking things ever put to film look threatening. Great work!
LOL... nice work.. A drunken beastie!
And being drunk while watching this movie surely helps.
"Um, excuuuuse me Mister-Captain-lifeguard-sir, Excuuuuse me! This young lady went in the water without waiting an hour after eating!"
Waddayouknow -a helpful monster!
Love the woman's reaction and what is the monster supposed to be?
I'm afraid I gave her more of a WTF reaction than one caused by terror! What the monster is -your guess is as good as mine. I don't think the filmmakers themselves knew.
So basically the woman's reaction is the audience' reaction to seeing this movie
Makes sense as I've never seen this movie is it a good bad movie or a bad bad movie worth watching?
It is pretty awful. Though I think it actually looks better than say something like Sting of Death. Jellyfish man lol. But unlike Sting of Death (which is a so so movie), I loath those movie because of the "comedy" in it.
I like your interpretation of the monster though. Literally your the only other person that I have seen do a piece of fan art on this. This was one I did about 5 years ago. I tried to give him a really dumb look lol.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That was one of the stupidest and awful design they made, I love to laugh.
Well.... its still more commendable Than that crawling carpet in Creeping terror.
Besides this film was supposed to be a comedy.
This monster looks absolutely bewildered. He's got the damsel and now he doesn't know what to do with her...the proverbial dog that caught the car. Maybe they should have let the artist who made the poster direct the movie.
This movie was farted out by Roger Corman over about a weekend and a half, and the monster was probably built over a lunch break. Not even the villainous old dudes in Scooby Doo had homemade monster suits that looked this bad.
I saw this movie, I believe it was a comedy, it was about a guy who was suppose to be a secret agent but wasn't good at it except in his own mind after gangsters who escaped for Cuba after the revolution. They ran aground on a island where the monster lived and had one of the gangsters talk by making bird sounds. I was disappointed that the hottest babe was near the start which our Secret Agent met for a brief time in a bar and never seen again. It was corny and the monster low budget but over all I didn't think I wasted my time and watching it.
It's supposed to be a comedy, but some of it is too crude to my tastes. The plot is very much like the one in "The Beast From Haunted Cave".
Looks like the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant melted down and Homer got the worst of the deal.
